Our 1-2-3 Process
123JUNK doesn’t just load our trucks with your contents and haul them to the dump. We have a defined process for sorting and donating your items to a robust network of local municipalities, school districts and nonprofit organizations. We can even provide disposal reports for LEED certification, with a breakdown of where your items were distributed. Our objective is to keep your items out of the landfill.
You select the junk you want removed. We take it to one of many local donation partners. Your unused items make it to a good cause!
If it can’t be donated, we take care to ensure that as many items are recycled as possible. Our goal from the start: reduce landfill waste.

Furniture Removal Service FAQs
Do you service condos and apartments in Falls Church City?
Yes. We work with many buildings along West Broad Street and in the Merrifield area. We can provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) to your building management and will coordinate with you to reserve the freight elevator or loading dock for a smooth move-out.
How is pricing determined?
We offer a transparent, flat-fee pricing model based on volume (how much space your furniture takes up in our truck). This fee covers everything: labor, transportation, donation sorting, and disposal. You will never be hit with a surprise “hourly rate” if the job takes longer than expected.
Do you take sleeper sofas or pianos?
Yes. We specialize in heavy lifting. Sleeper sofas and upright pianos are notoriously difficult to move, but our uniformed truck teams have the equipment and manpower to handle them safely.
Note: There may be a surcharge for exceptionally heavy items like pianos due to the extra labor required
What if I have a mix of furniture and general junk?
That is no problem. You don’t need to separate items. We can take your old couch, the broken lawnmower from the garage, and the boxes of trash from the attic all in the same trip. We handle the sorting back at our facility.
Do you take apart large furniture, like bed frames or sectionals?
Yes. We carry tools on every truck. If a bed frame, dining table, or large sectional needs to be disassembled to fit through the doorway safely, we will handle it. We take the stress out of the process—no need for you to hunt for your Allen wrenches!
