Manassas, VA is likely most known for the two major battles of the Civil War that were fought here near Manassas Junction, a strategic railway junction that was an important transportation hub during the war. They are known as the known as the First and Second Battles of Bull Run, and the site is commemorated at the Manassas Battlefield Park, which attracts visitors from around the world.

After the war ended, the area began to grow and develop, and in 1873, the Manassas Gap Railroad connected Manassas to the Shenandoah Valley and helped to spur economic growth, helping the city to incorporate in 1874.

In the early 20th century, Manassas became a center of commerce and industry, with a cotton and knitting mill, cannery, brickyard and other businesses. The opening of the Manassas Regional Airport in the 1930s also helped stimulate growth.

Today, Manassas is a thriving city featuring a vibrant downtown area filled with historic charm, shops, restaurants and cultural attractions. A number of events and festivals, natural beauty in the Bull Run Mountains, parks, easy access to major routes and a strong economy attract families here. They also enjoy Jiffy Lube Live—a 25,000-seat outdoor amphitheater, Splashdown Waterpark, the Hylton Performing Arts Center and nearby wineries and breweries.

Got Old Furniture that Needs Removal? Call 123JUNK!

When you get new furniture, you have to figure out what to do with your old furniture! You can try to sell it, but that often is a big hassle—you have to store it, run ads and haggle with potential buyers.

There’s an easier way to get rid of unwanted furniture—123JUNK! We’ll take furniture that’s in good condition and deliver it to one of our charity partners where other families can love it like you did. You’ll be helping your community and can even take a tax deduction on your donation. We’ll provide you with the receipt for your records.

If your furniture is broken or beyond its lifecycle, we can take it off your hands and either recycle what we can and haul the rest to the landfill. You don’t need to sort items out. We’ll do that when we load our trucks. Just direct us to what you want removed and we’ll do the rest. It’s our 1-2-3 philosophy of donate-recycle-dispose to help keep as much as possible out of our landfills.

You’ll enjoy our caring and professional junk hauling team as we work to clear out your home or office from unwanted furniture. Call us and we’ll give you a free estimate and explain our all-inclusive pricing that eliminates surprises. We’ll even call you 30 minutes prior to our arrival as a courtesy.

Our 1-2-3 Process

123JUNK doesn’t just load our trucks with your contents and haul them to the dump. We have a defined process for sorting and donating your items to a robust network of local municipalities, school districts and nonprofit organizations. We can even provide disposal reports for LEED certification, with a breakdown of where your items were distributed. Our objective is to keep your items out of the landfill.

1 Donate

You select the junk you want removed. We take it to one of many local donation partners. Your unused items make it to a good cause!

2 Recycle

If it can’t be donated, we take care to ensure that as many items are recycled as possible. Our goal from the start: reduce landfill waste.

3 DisposeTM

After items have been donated and recycled, the remaining items get hauled away as safely and carefully as possible. See what we take!
