123JUNK will be participating in its 2nd annual Plane Pull Competition at Dulles Airport in September. The event is a long way off, but it’s never too early to get the word out and allow people to start volunteering and donating to a great cause.
All donated money goes to benefit Special Olympics Virginia, a program that provides opportunity for people with developmental disabilities.
How Can You Help?
123JUNK is seeking two kinds of donations. The first kind is the traditional kind of donation—money. We have some lofty goals concerning how much money we’re aiming to raise, and the only way we can reach them is with the help and support of our great clients, colleagues, and fans. You donate by following the directions on our FirstGiving page.
The other kind of donation we’re seeking is less tangible. In order to raise money and awareness for Special Olympics Virginia, several teams at the Dulles Day Plane Pull compete to see who can pull a jumbo jet down the runway fastest. That means we need to field a team.
123JUNK is seeking strong, competitive participants who want to be a part of the day’s competition and festivities. We set the bar high last year, when we placed 4th out of 65 teams. All participants receive a 123JUNK Dulles Day Plane Pull T-shirt and are invited to join the rest of the team for a Happy Hour celebration after the event.
